IPTV on Samsung and LG Smart TV

Quick version: open the app store on your Samsung (Tizen) or LG (webOS) TV, install IBO Player or another IPTV player, open it and note the MAC address or Device ID. Send it to us on WhatsApp and we load your channels.

Samsung Smart TV

Press the Home button and open Apps.
Select the search icon and type IBO Player (or HotPlayer).
Install the app and open it.
Write down the MAC address and Device Key shown on screen.
Send both to us on WhatsApp. We add your playlist in a few minutes.
Restart the app. Your channel groups appear.

LG Smart TV

Press the Home button and open LG Content Store (or Apps on newer models).
Search for IBO Player and install it.
Open the app and note the MAC address and Device Key.
Send them to us on WhatsApp so we can add your playlist.
Close and reopen the app to load the channels.

About app fees: some TV player apps give a free trial week, then ask for a one time activation paid to the app developer. We tell you the current price before you install, so there are no surprises.

Is my TV supported?

Samsung TVs from about 2018 onward and LG TVs with webOS 4 or newer run current IPTV players well. Older or budget models may have a smaller app store or slow menus. In that case, a Fire TV Stick is the simplest fix.

Smart TV tips

Use the TV’s Ethernet port if the router is close. Many TVs have weaker WiFi than a streaming stick.
Turn off motion smoothing for sports if the picture looks unnatural.
Update the TV software in Settings, Support, Software update.

Smart TV questions

Can I use IPTV on a Sony, TCL or Hisense TV?

Yes. Most of these run Android TV or Google TV. Follow the Android TV guide. Hisense models with VIDAA can use a Fire Stick instead.

The app is not in my TV store. What can I do?

Search for another player such as HotPlayer or Smart IPTV Pro, or plug in a Fire TV Stick. Message us and we suggest the best app for your model.
