How to Fix IPTV Buffering
Ten fixes, in order, for freezing, buffering and channels that will not load.
Fast fix: restart your TV or stick and your router, move to 5 GHz WiFi or a cable, and switch to the HD version of the channel. If every channel fails to load, your internet provider may have blocked the server. Message us and we send a new server address.

The full checklist
- Restart everything. Unplug the TV or stick and the router for 30 seconds. This fixes most problems.
- Test your speed on the TV itself. Use a speed test app on the device, not your phone. Below 25 Mbps, HD will struggle.
- Use 5 GHz WiFi or Ethernet. The 2.4 GHz band is crowded in UAE apartment buildings. Most du and e& routers show two networks, choose the one ending in 5G.
- Move the router or add a mesh point. Thick walls in villas and apartments cut WiFi a lot.
- Lower the quality. Choose FHD or HD instead of 4K during busy hours.
- Clear the app cache. On Fire Stick: Settings, Applications, Manage installed applications, your player, Clear cache.
- Increase the buffer. In apps such as TiviMate, set the buffer size to Large.
- Change the DNS. On Android TV and Fire Stick you can set DNS to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 in the network settings. This sometimes speeds up loading.
- Try another player app. IBO Player, HotPlayer and TiviMate handle streams differently.
- Message us. Send your username, device, app and a photo of the error. We check the server and can move you if needed.
Why servers get blocked: internet providers sometimes block server addresses. When this happens, the fix is a new address from us, not a new subscription. It takes a couple of minutes.

What internet speed do I need for IPTV?
25 Mbps for HD and 50 Mbps or more for 4K, per screen. Most du and e& home plans give more than this.
Will a VPN fix buffering?
Usually not. A VPN can add delay. Use one only if we suggest it for a specific problem.
Why does it buffer only during football?
