How to Set Up IPTV on Fire TV Stick
Install an IPTV player on any Fire TV Stick and start watching in about 10 minutes.
Quick version: on your Fire TV Stick, search for an IPTV player such as IBO Player in the Amazon Appstore, install it, open it, then enter the login we sent you. If the app is not in the store, install the Downloader app and enter the app’s download code.
What you need
- A Fire TV Stick (Lite, HD, 4K or 4K Max) connected to WiFi
- Your IPTV login from WhatsApp
- About 10 minutes
Step by step
- Update the stick. Go to Settings, then My Fire TV, then About, then Check for updates. An updated stick runs apps more smoothly.
- Search for the player. On the home screen, open Find, then Search, and type IBO Player or HotPlayer.
- Install the app. Select it and press Get or Download.
- If the app is not listed: install Downloader from the store. Then go to Settings, My Fire TV, Developer options, and turn on Install unknown apps for Downloader. Open Downloader and type the download code we send you.
- Open the player. The first screen shows a Device ID and a Device Key, or a login form.
- Add your playlist. Send us the Device ID and Key on WhatsApp and we add your playlist, or type the server, username and password yourself.
- Restart the app. Close and reopen it. The channel groups load in under a minute.
Tip: Developer options is hidden on newer sticks. To show it, go to Settings, My Fire TV, About, and press the select button on Fire TV Stick seven times.
Get the best picture on Fire Stick
- Connect to the 5 GHz WiFi network, not 2.4 GHz.
- Keep the stick in direct view of the router, or use the Amazon Ethernet adapter.
- Clear the app cache once a month in Settings, Applications, Manage installed applications.
- Choose the HD version of a channel if the 4K one stutters on your connection.

The Fire TV Stick 4K or 4K Max. They have more memory and faster WiFi than the Lite, so channels switch quicker and 4K plays smoothly.

Channels load but will not play. What now?
